So, what do we do? Are we to remain isolated (or powerless) indefinitely? Acting as though we've been stripped of all power?
Have we been discouraged, bruised and dejected to the point of complete and total brokenness? If so, then I celebrate you. Yes, you read right! For it’s in the breaking, the pressing and the crushing where you become purified by fire.
For we are in a new era where no flesh will glory in His presence. Earthly kings will be no more!
The process of reclaiming the earth from the "Amorite stronghold" cannot be achieved through human means. Rather, it requires the activation of our FAITH– a mustard seed with incredible Kingdom potential. This faith is FUELED by the promise of the New Adam, through the Blood of Jesus Christ, who is the beginning and end of all things. Our legacy lies in knowing who we are and understanding that our identity is rooted in Him. But this journey is not for the faint of heart. For it is in our weaknesses, we become mighty and strong through Him.
As the Bible says, "Many are called, few are chosen." This could also be one example of why God scaled Gideons army down to 300, that none could claim credit for themselves at God's expense, thinking that they had won the victory on their own!
Similar to the times of Judges, there are many who are asking:
What should we do? Should we stay helpless and isolated?
Have we reached a state of despair and hopelessness?
Are we beyond repair?
Absolutely not! In fact, like the Apostle Paul, we should celebrate our weaknesses so that Christs power may rest upon us. Yes, it is through the trials of pressing, and crushing that we are refined, where anything not meant to be attached to us must go. We have entered into a new era where no human will be exalted above others in His presence, no matter your status. We must count the cost and go low.
The time for us to come out of our caves is now. For. "13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt becomes insipid, with what will it be salted? It is good for nothing except to be thrown outside and to be trodden upon by people. 14 You are the light of the world. You cannot hide a city that has been built upon a mountain. 15 And they do not light a lamp and set it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all those who are in the house. 16 Thus your light will shine before the children of men that they may see your good works and may glorify your Father who is in Heaven (Matt 5 Aramaic).
God is called the Father of lights. He also calls us the light of the world.
