CARBON LIGHTS | WEEK 8 REVIEW Basics of Deliverance: The Believer’s Authority
Carbon Lights Week 8: Basics of Deliverance
This week, Carbon Lights continues our Breakthrough ’26 review and discipleship journey with foundational biblical teaching on the basics of deliverance and the believer’s authority.
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
—Ephesians 6:12
Yes, demons do exist—but believers are not fighting from an even playing field. Jesus Christ has triumphed over every power of darkness and has delegated authority to His Church. As His disciples, we must learn to stand in that authority, resist spiritual wickedness, and actively apply the truth of God’s Word.
“Behold, I have given you authority…over all the power of the enemy.”
—Luke 10:19
We will also explore the analogy of the three-part temple. Just as the Old Testament temple consisted of an outer court, an inner court, and the Holy of Holies, Scripture reveals that we are also three-part beings—spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
When Jesus cleansed the temple, He drove out what did not belong there (Matthew 21:12–13). Today, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and He desires to bring cleansing, healing, and freedom to every area of our lives—often working through His Church, His hands and feet, to accomplish His purposes.
God is awakening His Church to move beyond passive participation and into active discipleship—to know our true identity in Christ, understand the authority He has entrusted to us, and become spiritually mature believers who know how to stand firm against the powers of darkness.
We will approach this important subject through Scripture, conversation, and practical life application, remembering that humility and forgiveness are foundational to walking in healing, freedom, and deliverance.

There's a decent chance you'll find me redesigning something at 2:00 a.m. because the font wasn't carrying the anointing.

I'm probably pulling a loaf of sourdough out of the oven at an equally unreasonable hour. Some people lose sleep over deadlines. I lose sleep because the dough was ready... and the font wasn't.
My Mission
I believe every person was created to know Jesus deeply, hear His voice clearly, and carry His light into everyday life.
My greatest joy is walking alongside others as they grow into mature disciples of Jesus—moving beyond simply knowing about Him to genuinely walking with Him in truth, freedom, and relational intimacy.
As a teacher, author, founder of Carbon Lights, and an inner healing and breakthrough minister, I serve through biblical teaching, prophetic encouragement, writing, authentic community, and transformative conversations that awaken hearts to the living Word of God.
Some of the most transformational encounters with God don't happen in the places we expect. They unfold around ordinary tables, in coffee shops, on quiet walks, through honest conversations, and anywhere people gather with open hearts and a hunger for His presence. Jesus commissioned His followers to go into the highways and byways and make disciples, and I believe that call is just as alive today.
My own story has been shaped by seasons of profound refinement, painful experiences, and the unwavering faithfulness of God. Those seasons have deepened my compassion, strengthened my faith, and ignited a passion to help others discover healing, hope, and lasting freedom in Christ.
Whether I'm teaching Scripture, facilitating inner healing and breakthrough sessions, writing, or developing new Kingdom projects, everything I create is driven by one desire: to help people know Jesus more deeply and become mature disciples who carry His light into everyday life.
If you're longing to grow deeper in your faith, hear God's voice with greater clarity, experience healing and restoration, or simply walk alongside others pursuing Jesus wholeheartedly, I'd be honored to walk that journey with you.
