Disrobed by Fire!

Recently I had a vision where there was a very large fire pit and the fire was fully engaged with roaring flames. It was beautiful to behold. In the vision many where drawn to it's dancing flames and were completely memorized by its splendor.

They began to approach the fire, for outside of its perimeter, it was quite cold in the darkness of the night. However, the closer they got to the fire pit, the hotter they began to feel.

Some individuals couldn't withstand the overwhelming intensity of the heat; they hesitated to proceed, adjusting their coats, covering their faces, and stepping back.

In contrast, others who were utterly captivated by its beauty bravely moved forward, undeterred by the scorching temperatures.

As they did, they began to remove their hats, masks, coats and gloves so they would not bake under the weight of what they were wearing. They knew that in order to draw closer, if they were to withstand the heat, they would have to disrobe.

Then it hit me. Many are huddling under the weight of cloaks and garments God never intended for them to bear.

Garments spoken over them by those that appeared to champion and propel them when in actuality kept them captive and held them down.

Scarves that were meant to protect them from the "elements" yet wound up robbing and hindering their voice.

Hats that were meant to cover and protect their heads, but wound up stifling tongues of fire that was suppose to ascend from within them.

Cloaks donned by themselves and others, were meant to safeguard what they perceived as "divine callings under shield of higher coverings," yet they failed to launch due to genuine lack of discipleship, and healthy effective leadership, along with the fear of acceptance, as HOLY FIRE was absent.

Its not that they weren’t called, its that they were hijacked by those seeking to proselytize and exert control over them.

Many are unwilling to disrobe, for fear they would lose what they’ve invested in and the price of their garment, product, trademark, etc; to them, was too costly a price.

They desire the fire but are unwilling to pay the price for purification.

Then there were those that understood the benefit of its heat, and willingly position themselves to disrobe, allowing the fire to strip away what hinders them and acclimate to the heat of what God is imparting to them.

The closer they got, the less they cared about their "purchased" or "gifted" cloaks and garments, the fear of being burned, and began taring off their hats and scarves and coats. They willingly let the fire dismantle that which they labored for and thought once protected them from the cold and darkness. The more they basked in the warmth of His presence, the more they moved about freely in unabashed worship.

To be fully disrobed in the presence of His fire is to be naked and unashamed. To come into the furnace is to say "I am willing to let you reshape and remold me, no matter the cost of lost garments".

If we are to be fully engulfed with His Holy presence, and then postured to receive that which he has allotted for us to carry, then we must come out from under the weight of what we are cloaked with, for as you approach holy fire, if you are unwilling to disrobe you will bake to death under the weight of what you were never meant to carry.

This is a time of disrobing & exposure. Heart posture is crucial and humility is essential. As you draw closer to the fire and are disrobed by His love, God will envelope you with impenetrable armor.

However, if you resist coming close to the fire, you risk being frost bitten and crushed by faulty armor, which ultimately leads to spiritual death, stemming from the atmosphere you are comfortable with and choosing to protect you.

God is removing those things which can be shaken, things that have been made, so that those things which cannot be shaken, can remain.

Hebrews 12

"But the holy people of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever—yes, for ever and ever."

Daniel 7:18

"Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;"

Hebrews 12:28

"for our God is a consuming fire. "

Hebrews 12:29
